      Marriage Counseling......ouch!!!!  Is there any hurt like marriage hurt? Well maybe, but it is up there with children and grief.  My heart goes out to you and I am so glad you are looking for help.  That in and of itself is Kingdom work and God wants to bless.  Let's let God get the glory for the great things He is wanting to do in your marriage.

       Marriage is used in scripture as a picture of how God sees our relationship with Him.  Many times in our journey toward health in our marriages we realize we also have some missing pieces in our relationship with our Heavenly Groom, God our Father.

        By the time we get to this point, we may be so discouraged and hurt that it almost seems pointless.  Sweet friend, can I please reassure you it is not.  Regardless of whether your marriage here on earth makes it, you can walk on in this life in victory and security coming to an understanding of God's love that will surpass understanding and sustain you for the rest of your life.  We cannot control the level of commitment our earthly spouses are willing to have but we can trust that our future is safe and secure and full of the good things we long for.

        As with all of our counseling services, we start with a Temperament test for each of you.  This will help us determine how God has put you together as individuals and as a couple.  This information with help us begin to education each partner about themselves and each other.  In this revelation, we begin to understand the pain, the unmet needs as well as benefits and opportunities.

         Let God show you what you have to give back, a sacrifice of praise waiting to be discovered.  Praise in the midst of suffering, if it brings you back to Him.  Praise in the suffering, if it let's you see your spouse differently, through God's eyes.  Praise, if all is lost, but your new life has begun in your Father's arms.  You are not without....you are with!
